Your own private channel, working on your operation

These terms apply to your seven-day evaluation of Iris (the “Trial”). “Trial Data” means the documents, messages, personal information, and other material that you or your authorized colleagues provide during the Trial.

Terms version: trial-data-v2-draft

1. Authorization and purpose. You authorize GratefulAI, Iris, and the service providers used to deliver the Trial to collect, access, transmit, store, analyze, and otherwise process Trial Data solely as necessary to provide, administer, secure, support, and evaluate the Trial.
2. Your authority and choice of data. You are not required to provide unredacted or production data and may use redacted, de-identified, or sample material. You represent that you have the authority and all necessary permissions to provide the Trial Data. Do not provide passwords, authentication credentials, payment-card or bank-account information, protected health information, or any material that you are prohibited from disclosing or that requires safeguards beyond those stated here.
3. Systems and access. Trial Data may be processed through a private Slack channel, a dedicated Google Drive folder, a Trial-specific Iris environment, and the infrastructure and artificial-intelligence services required to operate them. Access is restricted to you, colleagues whom you authorize, Iris, and authorized GratefulAI personnel and service providers who require access to administer, support, or secure the Trial. Other Trial customers are not authorized to access your Trial Data.
4. Use and safeguards. Iris may analyze Trial Data and generate drafts, summaries, recommendations, and other work product for your evaluation. Iris is configured not to place Trial Data in its free-form long-term memory or disclose Trial Data outside the resources assigned to your Trial. The private Trial configuration may retain the identity and access details of authorized participants as needed to operate and secure the Trial. You remain responsible for reviewing all generated work before using or relying on it.
5. Retention and deletion. When the Trial ends, the private Slack channel will be archived, participant access to Iris will be disabled, and participant access to the Trial Drive folder will become read-only for a 30-day grace period. You are responsible for downloading any material you wish to retain during that period. After the grace period, GratefulAI will retain Trial Data only for as long as reasonably necessary to conclude, administer, secure, or support the Trial; resolve disputes; comply with law; or carry out deletion through available operational procedures. Subject to legal retention requirements, GratefulAI will delete Trial Data when it is no longer reasonably necessary for those purposes. Copies maintained in routine service-provider backups may remain until overwritten under the applicable provider's retention schedule. GratefulAI may retain the signed consent record and non-content operational metadata for up to seven years to document authorization, security, and compliance. You may request earlier termination or deletion by contacting help@gratefulai.app; requests are subject to applicable legal and technical retention requirements.
6. Trial-only terms. These terms apply only to the Trial. Any production deployment, paid engagement, or other continued use of Iris will require a separate agreement.
